Heard a great quote today on Radio 5 Live from a Jewish American comedian whose name I didn't catch.He was invited to comment on whether Ken Bates' description of Chelsea football club management as "shysters from Siberia" was offensive to Jews.
"Oh no", came the response, "I think it's fantastic that people in your country are beginning to master important terms in Yiddish.
As for Chelsea... well it's not really a football club, is it? It's more of an international money-laundering operation."
