I did something today I don't often do except when there's no reality TV programmes starring Diane Abbott to watch and no blog debates between the People's Front of Judea and the Judean People's Front to take part in - Linda and I hired a babysitter and went to an art exhibition. In this case it was the outdoor event "Grassy Arts", down south in London Fields. We saw some interesting paintings, although I wasn't quite sure what most of them were meant to be. I'm becoming more well-known by the day, although not everyone yet associates the face with the name. For instance, when I passed critical judgement on one of the "works", someone I've never met in my life mistook me for a chap called Phil Stein, whoever he is. I must admit the walk from Broadway Market was a bit of a grind, but eventually we got to the sanctuary of Ocean where we had an excellent pint of "Logan's Old Perversion". |
We saw Julian over the road, but he was keeping close to the Town Hall so he could duck inside and close the doors in the event of trouble. It was a grand afternoon. I must get out more often.

I see this "up-and-coming" local artist has managed to convince his local Chief Super Simon Pountain to reverse an earlier decision not to allow US homophobic evangelist Nicky Cruz to perform at your Council site "Ocean". Some connection with your lot, or just fear on the part of the police establishment that they might end up paying out yet another massive sum to him in compensation?
