Right, That's It... I'm Leaving The Country

I can take most things on the chin. People writing horrible things about me on their blogs. People writing horrible things about me on my blog. My beloved Labour Party tearing itself apart and heading into bankruptcy. England losing every single game of cricket - test, one-day and 20/20 - in Australia.

But yesterday my impersonator posted a comment on my blog saying that he agreed with me about something. And this morning, I see on the BBC news that Morrissey could represent the UK at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest.

This man makes me feel utterly sick to the point of contemplating suicide

Regular readers will know that the spoofster has on more than one occasion tried to ridicule me by promoting the idea that I'm a huge fan of the "glum rock" singer famous for "You Have Killed Me" (after bad news days for Labour), "Girlfriend In A Coma" (after postings mentioning Linda) and "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" (on reading the latest political opinion polls). So I fully expect that he will be revelling in this latest news item.

That's it. I've had enough. If Leonard Cohen's spiritual medium is chosen to represent us at Eurovision, I'm going to do a Jim Davidson.

Love the guy on Radio5Live who just commented that the prospect of Morrissey on Eurovision was like Peter Maxwell Davies joining Girls Aloud.
