Roy Hattersley

Roy Sydney George Hattersley is 75 this year, dribbling uncontrollably and suffering from senile dementia. So I wouldn't pay much attention to anything he said.

I can assure you that I am far from the dribbling, senile old man you make me out to be. You shouldn't make judgements simply from the fact that I wandered into the House of Lords by mistake and have been sitting there ever since, even though everyone else is on holiday. I'm here with a mission - to finally get rid of people like me. Now does that sound like a case of dementia to you?
