You are quite wrong, marcus. Luke has pinpointed an interesting connection here. According to Wikipedia (which may be wrong, but has not been questioned), Director of Public Prosecutions Sir Ken Macdonald was once convicted of supplying cannabis whilst a student at Oxford.
