French Piss-Taking

Fermez LaPorte, svpOK, so we gave Les Bleus a good stuffing last night at my old college game, but there was no need for them to get their own back by immediately distributing this nonsense from Agence France-Presse:

"Prime Minister Gordon Brown's recent woes showed no sign of easing as a poll put opposition support at its highest level for 15 years Sunday and figures loyal to his predecessor Tony Blair reportedly prepared to break ranks.

The opinion poll in the Sunday Telegraph is the latest to show how Brown's popularity has plummeted since he backed out of calling a snap general election eight days ago despite weeks of rumours that he would go for it.

The main opposition Conservative Party, led by David Cameron, were on 43% -- the highest since 1992 -- Labour on 36% and the Liberal Democrats on 14% in the survey by pollsters ICM."

Now that's just taking the piss.
