The Crook, The Thief, The Trot And His Lover

This post, on the subject of The Audit Commission's Comprehensive Performance Assessment of the London Borough of Hackney, has unfortunately been temporarily withdrawn on the advice of our legal team. A number of urgent meetings have been arranged to take place during the coming hours and days and it is hoped that it will be possible to make a fuller statement soon.

In the meantime, enjoy some footage of Mardi Gras 2007. Footage recorded in Hackney, but let your imagination loose a bit and you could be in Rio de Janeiro or Port of Spain. Enjoy!

That'll be legal problems with Akehurst Homes, then. Don't worry, a quick under-the-table deal and you'll soon be able to publish.
