Clare Short... And That Spotty Welsh Teenager!

Attracts lots of attention from young boysIn my posting yesterday "Keeping The Faith" I confessed to some problems that had occurred after I got together with David Taylor and Ade McMenamin to set up a website and petition in support of Tony. Reporting on the failure of the on-line petition I said: "That's the last time I use that Welsh website designer for my schemes."

I'm afraid that my former friend and teenage New Labour web design expert David may have been up to his naughty tricks again. Back in April, David was exposed in the pages of on-line IC North Wales as "The boy who took on Clare Short".

If Tim Ireland of Bloggerheads is to be believed, it looks very much like David is behind the latest spoof according to which Clare Short has made a speech at the "New Labour in Power: Ten Years On" conference at Kingston University this afternoon, offering to stand down at the next election and wait for New Labour to self-destruct.

Actually, Clare Short has spent a rather busy day helping to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of the women’s peace camp at Greenham Common. And her website remains unmoved. It was not a very convincing spoof. Good job nobody believed it!

It's that Clare Short woman. I seen a lot of her around town. She come up to me once late night when I is going home and asked if I is busy or I has the spare time. I was very shocked I can tell you. Is not every day I is propositioned by a woman her age on the street corner. But she has a nice smile. I like her very much.
